Twillingate-Day 19-June 19, 2021

What a string of very large days!

Today was a little of a down day for me. Well, when I say down day, I mean I didn’t go out for photo’s today.

Instead I focused on some other projects I wanted to play with while I was out here and had the freedom to explore. I did a series of digital edits on an original capelin digital painting I created this week and constructed a video with layers wave recordings.

It’s my first time trying this kind of thing but I already have some ideas stemming from this playing around today. Here’s what I came up with.

And here is the video…

Like I said, something new to play with, not sure how effective it is but I have ideas for interior church shots…

I went out for a wee hike this afternoon after supper. Twillingate has some beautiful trails and despite being HORRIBLY out of shape I have been enjoying them. One suggestion though, if anyone from the region is reading this and involved in trail development. Signage ON the trails could be clearer, maybe some distance markers, arrows etc etc. There are places where trails veer off into two or three different directions and its confusing for folks, well, for this folk anyway lol…

I’m hoping to head out again around 9:00pm or so to chase the sunset, also trying to get some more moon shots, this is by far the best time and phase for moon photography. I’ll post anything I get tomorrow!

I do hope you are enjoying these blogs, if there is anything else you would like to see here please let me know!

Thanks for joining me on this journey!

Don’t forget, if you love the work, think about purchasing a piece or purchasing a coffee. I have lots of klicks to cover this summer, and your support was never more appreciated.
