Today myself and Jordan Harnum, musician extraordinaire, had us a little adventure.
It was, as we Newfoundlanders like to say, a very large day.
So, after lunch, myself and Jordan jumped aboard the ol’ Subaru and headed out of Twillingate to explore the area around Moretons Harbour, Tizzards Harbour etc.
It did not disappoint.
Oh, before I forget, the ice coffee at Robins? VERY VERY good….
We drove on through the region till we ran out of road. In this case, we ran out of road in Saltwater Pond, just past Moretons Harbour. An absolute dream of a place. Check out the day that was in that area…
A beauty of a spot to be sure. If one were a kayaker, man, what a spot to be!
Coming back through we took a sideroad in Moretons Harbour that I missed on my last trip, and man, am I ever pleased to have taken that particular detour!
We also found a church, well, we KNOW other folks knew it was there already, but we are taking credit for finding it TODAY! Check out this little beauty nestled in the woods…
Also filmed a pilot for a new show, Bearded Backroads of Newfoundland lol…
Took the opportunity to snap a photo or two of Jordan as well, I don’t do near enough portrait work, it is something I enjoy. The light was a little harsh so it begged to be black and white…
