Arrival!
I am here, I have arrived.
The accommodations being provided by the Unscripted Digital Arts Festival are simply amazing, spacious, clean, comfortable and conveniently located. I can’t wait to test the bed out tonight. As those of you who have followed me will know, my back is an issue and I am hopeful the bed, which is quite firm, will be as awesome to sleep in and I think it will be.
Sleep is important folks, it helps get those creative juices flowing!
Had a very pleasant drive out. The Outback is better than I anticipated. Comfortable to drive, easy on the road and after going over dirt road this evening that would have crunched the Elantra I know its going to get me to the places I need to be!
Today was about getting here and unpacking my stuff, settling in.
That being said I couldn’t resist a little wander around the area and discovered one thing for sure, there is FAR more than 2 months of work here. A person could spend a lifetime and find a new place to capture every day, be it some stretch of rugged coast, a small town, a root cellar or fisherman working the waters, something new, beautiful and powerful presents itself with every turn.
Tomorrow I going to look for subject more in line with the Where Once We Stood project. I also promise a little video tomorrow as well. For now I leave you with these photos, a sign of things to come.

Exciting, rewarding and enriching times lay ahead!
Thanks for joining me on this journey!
Don’t forget, if you love the work, think about purchasing a piece or sponsoring a kilometer. I have lots of klicks to cover this summer, and your support was never more appreciated.
Thanks folks, I hope you are enjoying these blogs.
